Cancellation and Refund Policy – Kanooni Baat

At Kanooni Baat, we strive to offer smooth and transparent challan-processing services. Please read the following Refund and Cancellation policy carefully before making any payment.


1. General Policy

  • Payments made for challan processing are generally non-refundable.

  • Refunds will be provided only in cases of:

    • Duplicate transactions

    • Incorrect deductions caused by technical errors

    • Failure to clear your challan due to limitations or errors from our side


2. Challan Clearance Timeline

  • Standard challan clearance time is 30–90 business days.

  • If your challan is not cleared within this period due to a fault from our side, a refund will be issued.

Delays Not Considered Our Fault

The following delays will not qualify for a refund:

  • Magistrate holidays or court schedule delays

  • Unavoidable system downtimes beyond our control

  • Technical or administrative delays from government portals

  • Situations where the client fails to provide proper documents, Vakalatnama, or details, or timely responses.

  •  Verification code not received from (portal https://traffic.delhipolice.gov.in or  https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in  

  • Token not generated due to no record found.


3. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered only when:

  • We are unable to clear your challan solely due to technical or legal limitations from our side.

  • Valid proof of our non-processing or service failure is submitted.

  • Refund request is made within the required time frame.

We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet these criteria.


4. Administrative Deductions

  • In cases where the challan cannot be processed due to:

    • Technical errors

    • Processing failures

    • Magistrate holiday delays

    • Client-side issues

  • 20% of the paid amount will be deducted as administrative charges, and the remaining amount will be refunded (if eligible).


5. Refund Process

  • Refunds, once approved, will be processed within 5–7 business days.

  • All refunds will be issued through the original payment method.

  • All refunds are subject to our Terms of Service, and require:

    • Proof of payment

    • Proof of service failure, if applicable


6. Right to Reject Refund Requests

We reserve the absolute right to reject refund claims if:

  • The request does not meet the eligibility criteria

  • Required documents or proof are not provided

  • The challan could not be cleared due to factors outside our control

  • The client requests cancellation after processing has already begun
